Message from the Principal

    Pattukkottai Polytechnic College, “popularly known as PPC”, is the right place to start the career, for everyone who wants to pursue technical education after secondary school education. I want to share few innovative philosophy of teaching in order to reveal the serene environment and congenial atmosphere for learning at PPC. A teacher moulds minds while touching hearts. Experienced, dedicated and dynamic faculty members of our college are ever ready to help students with the challenges that they face in the classrooms and laboratories. All laboratories and workshops of the college are equipped with state–of-the-art facilities to impart practical training to the level of industry expectations. Apart from department libraries, the library of the college houses a massive collection of technical books, journals, magazines and VCD’s. The college aims and focuses on industry oriented education on par with the best.

    Hence, we are emphasizing an academic program with a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications, for knowledge and overall development of over 1200 students. An exclusive Training and placement cell that trains students in the nuances of interview techniques and help them to place in top companies of the state. Also, it is conducting regular workshops / seminars by prominent HR personalities / industry experts all through the year in addition to that of value added national / international certification courses during vacations. I proud to say, our placement record is near 100%. The student chapter of ISTE is actively functioning in the campus. Our college has formulated a quality management system for excellent education service in engineering, which has received ISO 9001: 2008 certification.
